Judging Others

Reasons why we Judge each other

We are lonely, The bonds you have based on judging others are superficial and are not likely to contain true substance

We are seeking change; we want our lives to be different

We are scared; we are intimidated by others

We are insecure; this is the main reason we judge, when we are not secure with ourselves

What judgement does!

It hurts people and perpetrate stereotypes

Puts negativity into the world

Ways to stop doing this!

Monitor your thoughts

Think before you speak

We need to look for the positive things in people. Just as you want people to look for the positivity in you. Focus on your own life before you look at someone else’s.

Most important things!

Remember how it feels to be judged and judged wrong

Remember that judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who you are.

Be kind and understanding of others!

Be Understanding

Being understanding makes allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. People are sinful and will let you down.  Knowing that will help you be understanding when they do. Don’t expect perfection from your loved ones because you will be disappointed.  Work hard to be open to other’s opinions and facts without expectations . People don’t always need advice sometimes they just need a shoulder to lean on and an open heart to understand and listen.

Be Gentle

A gentle person has a way of calming those around them.  They have the ability to deal with hard situations in a graceful way. Inevitably there will be conflict, but a gentle person will know the right way to deal with it. Being gentle meaning you have a strong hand but a soft touch. Speaking truth even when it's a hard and painful truth just doing so with a guard tone, so that your message can be received.  Being aware of others feelings, emotions and needs. Gentle people are open to new experiences and ideas. Being gentle takes work, patience and discipline. It's overcoming your ego versus you ego taking over you.
